Summary
A city councillor known for fighting poverty secretly sent 100+ hate-filled letters to a former colleague over two years—until police finally caught him thanks to fingerprints from a 2022 letter. That letter’s recipient, Julie Fadden, says early action might have stopped the harassment, which began after her housing group cut funding to his project. Police reopened the case this year but dropped it entirely—harassment charges expired, and while the letters were vile, they didn’t meet legal thresholds for prosecution. Justice slipped through the cracks, leaving many to wonder how many similar cases go unseen. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
