Summary

The Future of Inflammation Resolution In this episode of Live Foreverish, Dr. Mike and Dr. Crystal welcome Harvard researcher Dr. Charles Serhan to discuss resolution medicine, a groundbreaking field focused on activating the body's natural inflammation-resolving mechanisms. Dr. Serhan explains how specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs), derived from omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA, actively resolve inflammation rather than simply suppressing it. This show offers promising new strategies for treating chronic inflammatory diseases. #LELEARN #EDULFsocial Guest Bio: Prof. Charles Nicholas Serhan, PhD, DSc is the Simon Gelman Professor of Anaesthesia (Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology) at Harvard Medical School and Professor of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
