Cody is a pro ultra runner for Mount to Coast and just placed 3rd Overall at the Cocodona 250! After running it last year - Cody had a lot of knowledge going into this year’s race and capitalized on it, firmly cementing himself as one of the best 200+ ultra athletes in the US. We broke down the entire course, what he learned from last year, and of course got the full race recap from this year’s edition! We also chatted recovery from the race and training. Cody lives in the greater St. Louis area - needless to say there are no mountains there! Cody has to get creative with his training on top of working a full-time job. He has an impressive resume of races under his belt - including rowing down the Missouri River, winning an ultramarathon in the Gobi desert, and doing an Ironman!
