I started in tech, discovered product management, and after 95%+ of my applications ended in rejection or silence, finally landed my first PM role at a small IT company. Working in a tiny team pushed me into both product and marketing. In 2023, a mentor helped me realize that this combination could become my niche: Product Marketing. After a few months of searching, I found the right fit — a remote-first B2B SaaS startup where I could combine product, marketing, and strategy. In November 2023, I became a Middle Product Marketing Manager. My biggest lessons: trust your intuition, don’t let rejection define you, and don’t be afraid to build a career at the intersection of different skills.
