Summary
Keith Alcorn, co-creator of Jimmy Neutron, joins LegendsNLeaders to share the incredible story behind creating one of the most recognizable animated franchises of a generation—and what he’s working on today. Keith takes us back to the early days of Jimmy Neutron, from developing the characters and visual world to turning an idea into an Oscar-nominated feature film and hit Nickelodeon series. He shares what it was like helping pioneer computer animation and watching Jimmy Neutron become part of pop culture. But Keith’s creative journey didn’t stop with Jimmy. He has continued working across animation, directing, producing, and developing new projects. More recently, Keith served as a director and executive producer on the animated series The Chosen Adventures, continuing to bring new characters and stories to life decades into his career. In this episode, Keith discusses the creation of Jimmy Neutron, the evolution of animation, building an animation studio, the lessons he’s learned over more than four decades in the industry, and why he’s still excited about creating what comes next.
