Summary
Today’s word of the day is ‘onward’ as in the NBA playoffs as in the Pistons as in the Cavaliers as in 76ers. We had a couple of Game 7s and they all delivered. Two different teams came back from 3-1 deficits! Only 15 teams have ever done that and two happened on back to back nights! We start with what happened with the Nuggets though. A Jokic-led team blew it against a Timberwolves team without its three leading scorers! (8:00) The Boston Celtics blew a 3-1 lead at home! Joel Embiid was too big, too strong, too good. Jaylen Brown decided to have a livestream on Sunday and he went off on the referees. He went off on flopping. It was quite something. (23:20) The Orlando Magic fell apart. Another 3-1 lead. Another collapse. Never seen anything like Game 6. Credit to the Pistons for battling back. (31:30) One more thing about stadium planning! (35:00) The Cavaliers won their Game 7. Played against a Raptors team without Brandon Ingram and were too much. (39:00) Review: Crime 101. (41:30) NPPOD. (45:30) Miami is out of the Super Bowl rotation. A city that has hosted 11 Super Bowls. No more. Why? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
