Summary
For over a decade, the Rush Tribute Project has turned fans’ obsession with every Rush detail into an electrifying live experience—using vintage gear, precise set lists, and immersive stagecraft to resurrect the band’s legendary shows. When Rush stopped touring, this tribute became a lifeline for devoted fans, offering the “next best thing” with era-specific recreations that make you feel like you’re back in the 80s or 70s. Driven by pure passion and a love of technical challenges, the band members treat each performance as a joyful mission to connect with fellow Rush obsessives—and the shared energy after a song? That’s the magic. Armed with YouTube deep dives and modern tech like lighting and projections, they honor Rush’s legacy while adapting for today’s audiences. This year, they’re celebrating two iconic albums’ anniversaries by playing “Moving Pictures” in full on tour, blending nostalgia with fresh excitement for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
