Summary
Lego lovers rejoice—Bricks & Minifigs just opened in Lawrence, run by Bojan Conrad, a lifelong collector who turned his passion into a business after being laid off from IT. The store stocks everything from brand-new sets to rare retired pieces and loose bricks, and even buys collections—cash or credit. Conrad’s own stash plus downsizing collectors fueled the launch, and he’s committed to stocking diverse themes to appeal to all fans. Visitors can trade or sell their Lego, with staff checking authenticity and condition. Despite national franchise drama, this is an independent store running by the book—with helpful resources to guide Conrad as a first-time biz owner. Opening weekend drew over 1,000 visitors, proving strong local demand—and Conrad’s ready to learn, grow, and keep building.
