Summary
In this week's sermon, Pastor Shawn Smith delivers an urgent & deeply-personal message on the stewardship of time — challenging the congregation to stop spending their lives on what is temporary and start investing them in what is eternal. Additionally, Pastor Shawn uses a vivid rope illustration to contrast the brief span of our earthly lives against the infinite stretch of eternity, asking every person in the room: "Are you spending your life or investing it?" With raw honesty from his own testimony, he calls believers to redeem their time by loving deeply, forgiving quickly, serving faithfully, and sharing Jesus boldly — reminding us that nothing done in Christ is ever wasted. The sermon closes with a stirring altar call rooted in 2 Corinthians 6:2 — "Now is the time of God's favor. Now is the day of salvation" — and a challenge to make today the day everything changes.
