Summary

Sublimate đŸ’« To sublimate is to refine raw material into a higher expression. To take the friction, experiences, talents, and struggles of life and allow them to become substance for consciousness. This isn’t about superiority over others. It’s about becoming less mechanically run by programs and more connected to the essential inner being that supports real freedom. There is a spiritual worth to that process. A deepening. A remembering. In this episode of Beth of Fresh Air , I’m opening up some of the connections between the octaves in Gurdjieff’s tradition, the Fibonacci sequence I explored with Roy Wooten (and will do further with Micah and a special guest on this coming Monday!), and the living patterns that move through art, transformation, and self-remembering. With Special Guest: Micah Ellars Micah has a rare ability to bring multiple disciplines together into a living process. Filmmaking. Acting coaching. Self-remembering. Inner work. Something new forms through the sublimation of them — a living octave carrying creative and spiritual momentum. We’ll explore how growth in consciousness changes a person’s relationship to identity, pattern, and archetype itself. As someone develops greater freedom internally, they become less mechanically fixed inside archetypal grooves and more capable of movement, creativity, and real choice. What We’ll Explore Octaves in Gurdjieff’s work Fibonacci and living growth patterns Self-remembering and archetypes Creative sublimation through the arts Mechanical identity and conscious participation Freedom and evolving archetypal expression And we’ll allow the conversation itself to become part of the process. This conversation also opens the door into a new workshop series Micah Ellars and I are creating together (stay tuned for detail
