In Multiple clashes between Israelis, Palestinians reported in West Bank following alleged sheep theft, the IDF said forces rushed to several locations in the Hawara area in the Samaria Brigade to remove Israeli civilians and the sheep and prevent friction in the area. The clashes included incidents of stone throwing and the use of clubs between Israeli civilians and Palestinians, according to the IDF. Army radio also reported that some of the settlers involved were masked and that several Palestinians were injured, something that was later denied by the IDF. The forces worked to disperse the gatherings using riot control measures, and security forces are in the area to prevent further disturbances; the Sha'a District Police opened an investigation over the clashes in Huwara. The IDF strongly condemned violence of any kind that harms security in the area and diverts the attention of commanders.
