The Lebanese army says several of its soldiers were killed in an Israeli strike this morning on a military vehicle on the al-Harqadi-Nabta road in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese officer killed is described as holding the rank of Amīd, equivalent to a brigadier general. The strike comes as negotiations with Lebanon face a difficult moment, following remarks by Lebanon’s president in a recent interview. Israeli fighter jets are currently striking targets along the coast between Tyre and Sidon in the clashes zone. Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for 32 attacks against IDF forces in the past 24 hours, including four drone-bomb attacks, four missile strikes at Israeli aircraft, six drone-attack operations, 11 rocket launches, six artillery bursts, and one improvised explosive device activation.
