In US Military Role, a release from US Southern Command indicates that at the direction of SOUTHCOM Commander General Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a strike on a vessel operated by a known designated terrorist organization. Two narco-terrorists were killed in the strike. In Regional Impacts, human remains were discovered this evening in the Dor Tzair neighborhood of Kfar Aza and transferred for examination at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute. Investigators are now checking whether the remains belong to Nirel Zini, a Givati officer who was murdered on October 7 and whose head had not been located since that day. In the Conflict with Iran and its Regional Proxies, the Israel Defense Forces say troops operating in southern Lebanon located and searched a Hezbollah weapons depot containing numerous weapons intended for attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. The military said forces then destroyed more than 20 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the area using six tons of explosives. In a separate operation, troops uncovered and dismantled a booby-trapped Hezbollah storage facility containing explosive devices. The IDF added that over the past 24 hours it has continued striking Hezbollah militants and infrastructure across southern Lebanon.
