What did He see in them that others overlooked? As we examine Mark's account, we discover that Jesus has always delighted in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes. His invitation was not based on status, power, or credentials, but on a willingness to trust Him and follow Him. This message is a powerful reminder that the same Jesus who called fishermen on the shores of Galilee is still calling people today. No matter your background, abilities, or past, Jesus invites you to join His mission and be part of what He is doing in the world.
