Helping the homeless has become a lucrative business with multimillion-dollar government contracts awarded every day. but if there is so much money to be made, do these companies really want a long-term fix? According to a report by the consulting firm McKinsey and Company, the annual budget for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority rose from sixty-three million dollars [$63,000,000] in 2015 to eight hundred and eight million dollars [$808,000,000] in 2022, a thirteen HUNDRED percent increase in just seven [7] years… And what did the hardworking taxpayers of Los Angeles get for their money?...
