Today, he returns as a candidate for NALC Director ofSafety and Health , seeking to tackle one of the mosturgent issues facing every letter carrier. Safety is no longer just about dog bites or vehicle accidents. Today's letter carriers face extreme heat, workplace violence, harassment, mental health struggles, toxic management practices, unrealistic expectations, assaults, robberies, fatigue, stress, and growing public dangers. Every day,carriers walk into situations that can permanently change or end their lives. In this conversation, we'll explore why Rob changed his path, why he believes safety must become one of the union's highest priorities, and what he believes must change inside both the Postal Service and the NALC. We'll also discuss the importance of the 2026 election, why every carrier's vote matters, why silence only strengthens the status quo, and why Rob believes the Concerned Letter Carriers movement represents a new direction for the union.
