Summary
When Kim’s estranged mother dies, the last thing Melissa expects is for their life together to be overtaken by the past Kim tried so hard to leave behind. Joshua is only a child, newly orphaned and clearly damaged by a strange upbringing. Melissa wants to be patient. She wants to support the woman she loves. But Joshua’s arrival brings more than grief into their home.
