Summary

The Route Makers Episode 3: Liz "Snorkel" Thomas and Alexandra "Sunshine" Kenin on urban thru-hiking: inventing 100-mile hiking routes through American cities, mapping a thousand San Francisco staircases, and proving a 3,000-foot climb is a 3,000-foot climb whether it's in the Sierra or the middle of downtown. The first two episodes took us into the emptiest country left in America. This one heads the other direction: downtown.
