The jury convicted her of first-degree murder in less than a day. Those emails went beyond name-calling. Donna wrote the legal strategy from Wendi's kitchen table. She compiled a multi-year log of Dan's travel to paint him as an absentee father. She told Wendi the relocation of the children was non-negotiable. When a judge denied it permanently, Donna wrote the email prosecutors would later call the blueprint — subject line: please read, very important. She told Wendi to exploit Dan's weak points: money, religion, control. She told her to put on the performance of her life.
