Summary

Patrick watches Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) movie with co-writer Scott Murphy. Scott Murphy has written extensively for a variety of different mediums: film, half-hour TV, hour-long TV, children’s programming, animation, and even comic books. After working on several low-budget, independent films in Texas, he was accepted into the Graduate Screenwriting Program at USC where he received his MFA in Screenwriting. Upon graduation, he was awarded a year-long Disney/ABC Writing Fellowship where he developed scripts with Disney executives and learned the ropes of the studio-development process. From there, he went on to work on the writing staffs of TV shows The Nightmare Room, Angel, My Own Worst Enemy, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He’s also written pilots for NBC, producer Joel Silver, and Warner Bros. Television. In addition to his television work, Murphy has done extensive writing in the feature-film world, selling and developing scripts for Miramax, producer Gale Anne Hurd, and others.
