Bio: At Life Brain Training, we offer NeurOptimal® neurofeedback sessions, machine rentals and support. Because we know what it’s like to be parents , and how sometimes life throws us curveballs. Who is Life Brain Training : We are a Mum and Dad team that have a passion to help people just like us. Prior to starting our business, we struggled as parents with our eldest child who had emotional regulation issues. Searching for answers, we were introduced to NeurOptimal® sessions for ourselves to help with stress, depression and anxiety symptoms and got great results. We were so pleased with the results we got that, we wondered If it would help our eldest child with her emotional regulation issues. After some research, we decided to rent a machine for 3 months and were so pleased with the results that we embarked on the certification training and Life Brain Training was born. What is NeurOptimal ® : NeurOptimal is a dynamical nonlinear form of Neurofeedback that was developed by Psychologists, Dr Val and Sue Brown from the Zengar Institute. It is not considered a medical device, but rather a tool, just like you would go to the gym for your body, this is like a gym for your brain, the difference being that it’s not hard work. How does NeurOptimal® work?: in its simplest form, sensors are placed on the ears and head to scan the electrical activity in the brain, and you listen to nice relaxing music and the training begins. It is important to note that nothing is being put into your brain or taken out and you don’t feel anything.
