Three progressive Democratic Socialist candidates endorsed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the DSA won their Democratic primaries on June 23rd in New York City's 7th, 10th, and 13th congressional districts. Claire Valdez, Brad Lander, and Daria Lisa Avila Chevalier all defeated opponents backed by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, Governor Kathy Hochul, and the AIPAC-aligned Democratic establishment. Lander defeated incumbent Congressman Dan Goldman by 22 points. Hawk plays a clip of Sean Hannity visibly shaken delivering the results.
