Summary
In this review of Ultraman Omega Episode 4, I break down what worked and what didn’t. Kosei’s over-the-top reaction undercuts the emotional arc, the secret identity slip is baffling, and the toy transformation doesn't land—but there’s still a lot to like. This is the first time we see Rekiness transform into armor for Omega, and it opens up interesting new dynamics for the show. I talk about tactical telekinesis, kaiju bonding mechanics, and how Sorato continues to grow and learned to deal with his amnesia. If you’ve been following the series or you're a fan of thoughtful tokusatsu, this one’s worth discussing. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. SHOW NOTES - https://mjmunoz.com/2025/08/07/ultraman-omega-04/ Also—my book Mockwing Mayhem is out now. If you like Ultraman, magical creatures, or kid-safe monster battles, it might be up your alley. #UltramanOmega #KaijuReview #Tokusatsu #Rekiness #MockwingMayhem #GoingUltra #UltramanReview
