Summary

I explored the decline of journalism, the role of belief systems in preventing people from processing uncomfortable information, and why so much of modern politics feels performative rather than representative. Along the way, we touched on Hilaire Belloc, jury power, the meaning of democracy, and the way institutions condition people to defer to authority instead of thinking for themselves. The second half dug further into hidden power, historical subversion, and modern mind control narratives, with references to books, researchers, and guests whose work questions official history, media messaging, the EU, and state power.
