Summary
Epic pun incoming! The brothers Henry analyze the second series defeat in a row to the Rockies, discuss the Giants All-Star selections, and conclude the Jung Hoo Lee Watch (did JHL win Ben's respect? Press play to find out.) Then they ask the impossible question: are the Rockies more entertaining than the Giants? On the cocktail side of things, today Matthew is drinking a 5th of July while Ben is getting Mountain High. Recipes below. 5th of July 2 oz Gin 3/4 oz Lemon Juice 1/2 oz Demerara Syrup 3 strawberries 5 blueberries 1 dash orange bitters Tiny pinch of sea salt Muddle berries and syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients plus ice and shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with mint sprig and couple of blueberries. Mountain High 2 oz Tequila blanco 1 oz Blood orange juice 1/4 oz Grenadine Layer the grenadine on the bottom of an empty rocks glass. Fill the rocks glass with ice. Combine tequila and blood orange juice in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled and strain into the prepared rocks glass. Garnish with a blood orange wheel. #doitforwilson
