Summary
Ella Cantwell was the inaugural winner of golf's West of Ireland Amateur Open Championship in Castledargan back in June. The result put the 17-year-old into the lead in the Bridgestone Order of Merit, adding to a 13th placed finish in the Irish Women's Amateur Open Championship, and eighth place in the South of Ireland Amateur Open. She recently set a course record in Gort, and will compete in the this week's Irish Open. Ella chatted to Galway Bay FM's George McDonagh on 'Over The Line.'
