A former prosecutor, four-term state senator, and member of Congress, Jackson, a Democrat from Mecklenburg County, is North Carolina's 51st Attorney General. His tasks are far-reaching, from oversight of data centers to elections to anti-trust law. Jackson is working with states attorneys general across the country, challenging the federal government, and pursuing, on occasion, bipartisan solutions.
