Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in late June of 2026, today’s show begins with the mystical raga “In The Glory”, featuring soaring Native flute and vocal excursions before moving into the upbeat gospel rock of “Cosmic Ring Of Life”, an energized song driven by chiming ukulele and racing, precise piano. “Rays Of Light” is a classic of Mariam’s repertoire and the band delivers a tight, focused rendition of this fine country waltz. “Guided By Light” is a pretty folk pop song with a soaring, expressive vocal from Mariam over driving acoustic guitar and gospel piano and “Oya Mama Yay” is a driving, psychedelic series of powerful movements with electronic treatments unified by Mariam’s powerful guiding vocals.
