Summary
Still standing in the vacant lot at the address her mother gave, Luna feels the hum through her bones. The ground splits open to reveal a concrete bunker sealed since 1959. Inside, a reel-to-reel plays a conversation between two women—one is her mother, the other claims to be Luna. The tape ends with a promise: 'I will find you before you are born.' Luna discovers a child's dress in a glass case, stitched with her name in a language she does not speak. The bunker's walls are lined with photographs of Luna at ages she never lived. As she turns to leave, the door is gone, replaced by a wall of mirrors reflecting a version of her that is still a child.
