It argues that the US could review a policy of endorsing European claims to longstanding “ imperial possessions.” It also argued that Spain should be suspended from NATO for refusing to allow US war planes to be based in or fly over. • Since agreeing last week to a ceasefire with Hezbollah, the Israeli army has been leveling neighborhoods in towns and villages near the Lebanese-Israeli border. The military says it destroys buildings that were used as outposts by the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.
