Summary
The 414 Hour opens with Ben worrying that his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter is not showing enough interest in sports yet, leading Kyle, callers and eventually Homer to tell him to relax and stop pushing. The Brewers then finish off a 4-3 win over the Mets, with Joey Ortiz delivering a huge game and Christian Yelich adding a key triple as Milwaukee improves to 64-38. Ben and Kyle debate whether the Brewers should get aggressive at the deadline, with Ben wanting Milwaukee to act like a World Series contender while Kyle keeps protecting the future window. Catastrophic with C-Katt features his belated birthday grievance, a foul-ball etiquette debate, and a heated argument over whether it is acceptable to throw dog poop bags in someone else’s garbage can. Homer joins late to give parenting and sports advice, telling Ben and Kyle that their kids have good athletic genes but that the dads need to stay out of the way.
