Ethereum or Solana to top up? Ran says Solana — no hesitation. Solana is 66% down from its all-time high of $300. ETH is 50% down from $4,500. Solana has the more energetic community. ETH feels like an ETF now. When Solana starts pumping, it'll really pump. But here's the bigger picture: Ran isn't that excited about L1s in general. The L1 race is already won — Base, Robinhood Chain, Solana. Done. What excites him is the applications being built on top. We've spent 15 years building infrastructure. This cycle is about the use cases. Revenue-generating apps on top of the L1s — that's where the real money is.
