Summary
April 1997, four miles off Whitson Head on the Maine coast. I was on a friend's lobster boat when we found a rowboat adrift with a man who had no memory of how he got there. He wore a brass medallion with a lighthouse etched into it—one that had been decommissioned and locked for twenty years.
