The "big story" of Keeler McCartney of the Atlanta Constitution, who attempts to clean up a lottery racket and nearly gets killed for his efforts. Then, Calling All Cars , originally broadcast July 21, 1937, 89 years ago, Alibi. A dangerous hold-up man is wanted. He has held up a streetcar motorman. Followed by The CBS Radio Workshop , originally broadcast July 21, 1957, 69 years ago, Green Hills of Earth starring Everett Sloan. The beautiful Robert Heinlein science fiction story about Reisling, the blind poet of the spaceways. Perhaps the best adaptation of the story.
