Summary

It's hoped the impending installation of CCTV in West Clare's capital will significantly eradicate illegal dumping. Clare County Council is carrying out a public consultation process until June 1st to determine where the cameras should go in Tulla and Kilrush. So far this year, the local authority has already dealt with over 210 illegal dumping and litter complaints. Kilrush Independent Councillor Ian Lynch has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan that swift and decisive action is needed.
