Communities across Clare have been waiting years for meaningful flood protection, and while progress is being made on a number of major schemes, the latest Government update shows some residents will be waiting a lot longer. The Shannon Town and Environs Flood Relief Scheme isn't expected to be completed until late 2032, while the Kilkee scheme is targeting completion in 2029 and work continues on plans for Bunratty.
