The cost of renting in County Clare continues to climb sharply, with the latest figures showing new tenants now paying almost €600 a month for a single room in a house. According to the latest Daft.ie rental report, market rents rose by 4.4% nationally in the first quarter of 2026 — the biggest quarterly increase recorded since the series began in 2002.
