Summary
A Clare adventurer and volunteer is once again heading into one of the world’s most dangerous war zones. Quin native Declan McEvoy is currently in Ukraine and is making his way towards Kharkiv, where he’ll spend the next two weeks volunteering with Hell’s Kitchen, providing hot meals and humanitarian support close to the front line. Declan has previously spoken about the nightly drone and missile attacks he witnessed there, and the challenge of returning to normal life in Ireland afterwards.
