A Clare MEP has raised concerns with Uisce Éireann over its plans for a wastewater treatment plant in Lahinch. Michael McNamara claims residents were not adequately informed during a 2025 consultation, with concerns over the proposed site at Calluragh, the Cregg Beach outfall and environmental impacts.
