Jane starts off by speaking with Sarah Cherin, chief of staff of UFCW 3000, the union representing REI workers in their four-year struggle for a first contract. Sarah shares updates on the latest round of bargaining and gives insight into how worker conditions have changed since REI’s founding. Then, contributor Hannah Krieg and producer Sam join Jane to talk through organizing efforts by workers at Neumos, SIFF, and Starbucks.
