From being one of the founders of HUK adn NOMAD hunting and fishing apparel, where he took these brands to more than $50 million in sales in just four years, to to being an auditor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield to his current venture as president of Marsh Hen Mill out of Edisto Island, SC. Marsh Hen Mill is revitalizing the old trade of stone ground grits and heirloom rice in the low country of South Carolina. Doc shares with us the challenges of the appareal business and his transition into Marsh Hen Mill as President. He goes on to share how his faith has been instrimental to his companies and their success.
