The center of the Milky Way is super bright because it’s packed with a lot of stars and a supermassive black hole. That black hole, called Sagittarius A*, is millions of times bigger than our sun! It pulls in gas, dust, and even stars, and as they get close, they heat up and glow, making the area shine really bright.
