Summary
April 5, 2026 SERMON: Uncommon Hope: Embracing Change in a Broken World SCRIPTURE: JOHN 11:21-27 ““Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”” John 11:21-27 NIV INTRODUCTION: Because Jesus lives, your worst moment is never your last chapter. Uncommon Hope: 1. Reaches Beyond the Present (v. 22) “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” 2. Rest in God's Promises (v. 23) "Your brother will rise again." 3. Relies on a person, not a plan. (v. 25) "I am the resurrection and the life..." 4. Responds with personal faith. (v. 27) "Yes, I believe you are the Messiah..." CONCLUSION: What is your response to Jesus question? Do you believe? ★ Support this podcast ★
