Mark Jeffreys of Southern Nazarene University isn’t taking all the credit for three-period format he’s about to describe to you. He said it originated from a student-athlete. What he’s proposing is head-to-head matches between two teams, complete with a scoreboard, a new livestreaming network and the goal of 64 teams qualifying for a bracket that leads to a national championship, like college basketball.
