Summary
Kris Zellner is joined by Rob Naylor and Our Good Buddy Charles as we discuss the month of July 1991 in World Championship Wrestling and pop culture in general. Topics of discussion include: The entire show is bookended by Ric Flair being fired at the beginning of the month and then WCW basically offering him the booking position at the end of the month. Ric Flair refusing to drop the title not just to Lex Luger but Barry Windham as well, as they were trying to get Flair to do business before he left. Flair's departure totally screwing up the production going into the Great American Bash PPV. The way Flair's departure was treated on TV as a complete shoot which was so foreign to how wrestling was presented on TV in that era. The total confusion of what Barry Windham was supposed to be.
