Summary

If there was ever a contending team that needed a very specific thing, it would be the Cubs' desire to find starting pitching. While Chicago did make a trade for the Mets' David Peterson, it is clear that, because of the rash of injuries to the Cubs' starting rotation, other moves need to be made. That's why the Play Tessie guys (Gordo, Pat and Sammy) are diving into the discussion, looking for answers when it comes to one of MLB's most mercurial clubs.
