Summary

Erinn Alissa tears into the silence with raw, confrontational energy on her new rock track "What You Didn't Say." Built on ‘90s-tinged guitars and a fierce vocal performance, the slow-burning song explodes into something rawer and harder, living in the space between heartbreak and fury- the quiet ache of someone who once held you at your lowest going silent, until the silence itself starts to sound like goodbye. "What You Didn't Say" shows that nothing can say everything. The song draws heavily on Erinn's 90s alt-rock influences in the electric guitar woven throughout, and the overall vibe, alongside the female-fronted rock she grew up on. "There's a lot of Sheryl Crow's self-titled album in there, the fire of Alanis Morissette, and a little Stevie Nicks magic for the confrontational edge in the lyrics," she says. “All amazing women of rock I have loved since I was a kid.” Born in Albany, NY and now based in Santa Monica, CA, Erinn Alissa is a folk-rock singer-songwriter inspired by the sun-drenched golden era of the '60s and '70s West Coast music scene. A natural performer since childhood, she has built a loyal following through her original music and her residencies at iconic Los Angeles venues including The Hotel Café, Molly Malone's, and The Viper Room. She has also opened for Katey Sagal and performs more than 200 shows a year.
