Summary
In 2008, Mike and Kim Burkhart’s son, Travis, was involved in a near-fatal auto accident. They share their experience and reflections from that time, along with the difficult journey that followed. Travis’s road to recovery was anything but easy, but his parents knew they wanted to help others facing similar challenges. That’s why they created the Travis Burkhart Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness about traumatic brain injury and supporting people in all medical conditions.
