Summary
*Arsenal 0:0 Aston RB - Back After A Long While* I finally played my league game today after a long break. Arsenal vs Aston RB, and they’re sitting 4th in the league so I knew it wouldn’t be easy. Whole match ended 0:0. No goals from both sides. I was rusty at first, but as the game went on I could feel myself getting back into it. The problem was, I created chances but nothing went in. If I’m being honest, I think I would’ve scored more if I was sharper. My through passes were working well today - about 78% of them were going in. I kept finding space behind their defense and playing balls that should’ve been goals. But my main issue killed me. I play it too directly. I don’t cut inside, I don’t dribble enough to break them down. Soon as I get the ball, I’m looking for the pass instead of taking a man on. Against a team like Aston RB that’s 4th, that’s not enough. So yeah, it was hard for me to score. I had the vision, the passes were landing, but I lacked that final bit. No dribbling, no cutting in, just straight play. 0:0 feels like two points dropped. I know if I add more dribbling to my game I’ll start converting these chances. Still glad I’m back playing though. Need more matches like this to shake the rust off. Thanks for visiting
