In this edition, Jim and Greg will share their favorite depictions of the American Founding and our Founding Fathers . First, they head to television, as Jim showcases the popular miniseries George Washington in the 1980's and Greg points to a specific episode from one of the most popular sitcoms of that decade, Family Ties . Next, Jim recommends the HBO series focusing on a Founding Father who deserves more attention - John Adams. That series was based off a book by famed historian David McCullough. Greg highlights another McCullough book plus a two-volume set of novels that are good for any age. Then, Jim dives into the popularity of the Broadway hit Hamilton , which tells the story of Alexander Hamilton and so many others from that era.
